Going to a concert soon? Then you’ll need to know about our must-haves for every concert. Make sure you’ve got these four things to make your experience truly great.

Earplugs

Now, maybe some of you are saying “what?” at this. After all, don’t you go to a concert to listen to the music? But keep in mind how loud it can be if you end up next to the speakers and can’t move somewhere else. At that range, any sound can turn from good to painful. You don’t want to lose your hearing just for the sake of great music. Bring the earplugs - just in case.

Great Drinks

Not every concert venue allows you to bring in your own giant-sized cup of soda or water, but make sure you bring or buy something to keep hydrated. Concession stand options too boring for you? If you’re looking for something more adventurous, you can also bring flavored syrups to mix with your drinks for a more exciting, refreshing experience. Some companies, like Monin, know that you can mix and match them to create something truly unique. Quench your thirst the fun way.

Comfortable Shoes

Sure, you want to look stylish for pictures, but there’s a good chance you’re going to be on your feet a lot. You’ve got to stand up and dance and scream along with the music, and you can’t do that with sore feet. Make sure they’re weather-appropriate, as well - even if the concert is indoor, you might have to wait around a while to get in. Ditch the super-high heels or the huge boots and go with something you can stand, walk, and dance in easily and without pain. Your feet will thank you the next day.

The Right Bag

You’ll need to have something in which to bring your small snacks, drinks, earplugs, and cash in. But you don’t want anything that’ll weigh you down, so grab something compact. It’s a concert, after all, and you need to make sure that you’re free and unencumbered. Make sure, too, that it’s something you won’t cry too hard if you lose. Concerts can be chaotic, and you don’t want to bring your most treasured designer purse only to discover it was stolen while you were dancing the night away.

And those are our four concert must-haves. If you’re going out, remember to stay safe, hydrated, and comfortable. Enjoy your music.
