BandCentral Confirmed today as one of 15 Music Tech Start-ups to Showcase at MIDEM in January 2010.

BandCentral is excited to confirm our invitation to showcase at the inaugural MidemNet Lab, at the MIDEM music conference in Cannes, France, from 23rd – 27th January 2010.

The MidemNet Lab will shine a spotlight on 15 of the brightest start-ups bringing innovative digital solutions to the music industry.

Hand-picked by leaders in the field, including Music Ally, Spotify, Seesmic, SoundCloud, Topspin and Hype Machine, the MidemNet Lab will serve as a ‘form guide’ for the start-ups set to make waves in the digital music industry in 2010.

BandCentral’s acceptance into the MidemNet Lab comes as more great news for the company who, in their first year of operation, have been heralded as the ‘basecamp for bands’ by social media bible Mashable, nominated for a UK Festival Award and represented the UK on a digital mission to New York organised by Chinwag and the UKTI.

In 2009, BandCentral established themselves as the industry standard for online band management. The eagerly anticipated BandCentral V2 release is set for January 2010 and will be showcased at MIDEM. The upgraded system will include detailed new music and merch management systems and cutting edge enhancements to those features BandCentral users know and love.
