- FeedTheArts.com is a new website introducing a way to raise money for Artists of all kinds (musicians, actors, writers, painters, etc.) using a new trade marked platform called Time Funding.
- Time Funding is a concept using virtual currency people earn on our website to fund artists’ projects (recording, marketing help, art supplies, publishers and more).  Think crowd funding without having to donate actual money.  Fans can come to our site and play games, watch videos, clip coupons and earn virtual currency called “Helping Hands”.  They can then turn around a donate those helping hands to any Artist registered to our site.  It’s free for everyone—Artists, Fans and Service Providers.  Artists no longer have to beg for money to buy those new guitar strings or pay for head shots.  They can raise the money to reach their goal at FeedTheArts.com.
- Basically how this works is we share our ad dollars with entertainment service providers to allow fans to support a project and also for artists to complete that goal project with no cash at all!
- We did our first run last week and raised enough Helping Hands to fund a recording session at Skylab studio for Artist Sarah McLellan. We did this in 23 hours!!   Please see attached press release for all of the info.  We’re “officially” rolling out September 1 but running a few more mob funding events between now and then, much like the one we just did.
- Our idea is” It’s about TIME!”  and it really is.  There aren’t many people that are liquid enough to fund their own projects, let alone projects for fellow Artists and those they are fans of.  We really want to spread the word.

Time Funding™ History has been made!

In less than 24 hours, FeedTheArts.com utilized Time Funding™ to fulfill its first project

July 22, 2013 (New York, NY)—The Arts have always been stymied for centuries due to endowments, financiers, donors and other methods, running out of cash or Artists simply not able to raise fund through conventional means.  Artists are tired of begging for cash through traditional crowdfunding sites and simply want to be creative. FeedTheArts has eliminated forever this issue and will be the future of Arts Funding through its patent pending Time Funding™ Method.

Time Funding™ is a cross between crowd funding and virtual rewards programs. FeedThe Arts.com creates an opportunity for fans to contribute to an Artist’s project by donating their time rather than money. Most of the time, especially during a national economic struggle, a majority of the population is left out of donating to an Artist due to the need for disposable income.  Right now, there are only about 2% of people nationwide who are financially liquid enough to participate in monetary crowdfunding projects.

After years of perfecting the model, The very first Time Funding™ effort, held Tuesday, July 16, was to fund a recording project at the world renowned Skyelab Studios for singer/songwriter, Sarah McLennan.  Within the first 3 hours, Sarah reached 30% of her project funding goal!  Within 12 hours, the project was 74% funded.  The goal set by FeedTheArts was to fund a $1000.00 project within 24 hours.  Not only was this a huge goal, but it was completed in less time than they had hoped for!  Fans and supporters of the Arts community worked together to make this happen with their generous Time.  No Cash Needed!

While the community was donating, Sarah was watching with hope and gratitude, “Thank you to The Arts Community and FeedTheArts.com for helping me take another step further in this crazy journey.  I am so thrilled and humbled.  Time Funding™  creates an unprecidented opportunity for Artists like myself.”

Head of Marketing- Music Outreach, Grammy Nominee and studio owner, Arty Skye, “Sarah’s talent is outstanding and I am eager to work with her.  Had it not been for the generosity of the FeedTheArts.com supporters, this music would not have a chance to be made.  I look forward to sharing the final product with our community and everyone that helped make this happen.  Truly amazing, this is the future of the entertainment industry.”

With this proven success comes more great news.  FeedTheArts.com has partnered with some impressive Service Providers who Artists choose as their funding need and checks are always written directly to the service provider:  Blick Art Supplies, Abbott Press, Quad Studios, Guitar Center, CafePress.com, Sony Equipment and hundreds of others of service providers across the country who can assist artists in the film, music, visual arts and literature genres.

Fifteen minutes a day is all that is needed to participate in Time Funding™.   Turning the donated time into real currency for the artist and service provider is easy.

FeedTheArts.com uses their advertising program to fund the projects as the fans earn the virtual currency called “Helping Hands.”

Time Funding™ ™  has arrived and FeedTheArts.com is providing the platform to help Artists showcase their potential and step closer to their dreams.  Keep watching as our roster of talent and entertainment driven companies grows and more events roll out.

While projects are now being accepted, FeedTheArts also featured projects for our mob funding model. Our next mob Time Funding™  event will be held the entire month to fund eight film, music, literature and visual artists projects.
