There’s no catch - it’s my Blog, you don’t have to sign up for anything, pay anything, sell your grandmother - nothing at all. If you’re in a band looking for a decent record deal, then it’s probably the best bit of free information you’ll ever receive.
Why? Because UK A&R people need to pull their finger out and start signing some homegrown talent. Not that I have anything against non-UK bands, but less than 30% of the top 100 singles in 2012 came from UK artists, as opposed to 30 years ago, when the majority of the top 100 were UK artists. We’re losing our global musical influence and we need to get it back!
