It seems like everybody heard about Dave Grohl’s accident in Sweden and how it created a massive buzz. First going on stage after the injury, than - an epic Iron Throne that saved the following gigs.
But the story has no ending and Foo Fighters’ team created a limited edition of merch dedicated to this accident. One of them shows an x-ray of Dave’s leg, the other one - famous sketch of a throne with comments. And finally, an incredible print that says “Break a Leg”. These t-shirts are currently available for pre-order and typically made “to commemorate the unforgettable performance in Sweden” (as it is said on the official store).
They say, when life gives you lemmons, take it because - hey, it’s free lemmons! Foo Fighters continue to give us such a great examples of self-irony, great marketing and rock’n’roll. I’m sure not every musician could be ready to make fun about broken leg and create a limited edition of merch based on such strange situation. No wonder that this story will be in some way monetized but we must admit that this idea is really creative.

By the way, if you’re looking for an inspiration and want to see some other examles of creative merch, check out this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVxeLTNKdRw
No harms or broken legs, just non-standart cases that will encourage fans to buy merch.
