When asked about his name and purpose, Dro Man had this to say
“The name Dro Man comes from my music, my sound. My music is intoxicating, strong, and it sticks to you!”. It resonates! So, Dro Man is a pun, so to speak on the quality of music he delivers. “Elementary aged kids are “Jiggalatin”. I know it’s important for me to show them there are healthy lifestyle options. That’s why I got involved with education programs that encourage kids to stay in school. We are putting together a school tour now”.

Trap is a term Dro Man uses with which urban youth can identify when it comes to working hard. “Trap is putting in hard work in the hustle of life”, says Dro Man. By taking a term that has such an identity in a culture and associating it with hard work ethic in today’s times, is actually a way to encourage people to stay positive-Be happy! Dro further exclaims, “My music makes you full of energy, you know, jiggalate!!!”. Dro Man stands out from the rest! With the Jiggalate dance taking over the Midwest, he is poised to put Indianapolis on and show the world a whole new perspective on the Midwest. On May 17, 2011, Dro Man posted his “Pelle Pelle” video on Pelle Pelle Clothing’s Facebook page, creating an instant rush of 50 plus fans who “LIKED” their page within an hour time frame, thus exhibiting the public influence and brandability of Dro Man and his image. Pelle Pelle also cited Dro Man on their Wikipedia page, crediting him for influencing the company to create a Pelle Pelle music video, while proclaiming Dro Man’s “Pelle Pelle” video as “Official” (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pelle_Pelle). Dro Man is more than an artist, he is a brand!
