Everything To Me by Shaun DeGraff

Shaun Degraff is in the midst of a personal journey, exploring uncharted territory, with unremitting influences of positive and negative energy, away from his comfort zone and approaching that sweet spot between good and evil. That’s where he survives. It’s the tight rope he walks every day, and the title of his new album “Grey Area”.

All Eyes by Imagine Dragons

Combining synth-laden rock and infectious dance grooves, Imagine Dragons comes off both anthemic and eccentric. By way of Vegas, the quintet brings the restless energy of “the city that never sleeps” to the masses with its 2010 sophomore EP “Hell and Silence.” A short, yet impressive history includes sharing the stage with indie notables Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Nico Vega and The Envy Corps and opening for mainstream acts such as Blue October, Jet, and Kelly Clarkson

You Looked Good by The Public Good

Although The Public Good have all the makings of a great power-pop band, their gritty sound and offbeat perspective add up to something else; something that defies easy labels. They are a band with something to say and their own way of saying it.

American Politricks by Mike Petrone

It may have seemed like a lofty goal for an independent rapper to get Lil Scrappy and Iam of Soul Mafia on his first single. Not for Mike Petrone, whose breakthrough record “Crank It” is heating up the streets of his native Atlanta on the strength of spitfire verses and an insanely catchy hook.

Look At All These Girls by Nando

Imagine if you could fuse Neyo, Kevin Lyttle, & Sanchez into one – well the result should not be very far from Nando. Nando is a singer /songwriter who is equally adept at gliding over mellow one-drop reggae grooves, riding uptempo dancehall and soca riddims, or belting out pop and R&B tunes with a comfort that belies his Jamaican roots. While the majority of his catalogue either address male-female relationships or are meant to make you dance, Nando is not afraid to tackle social issues such as racism or single-parenthood, which he does with aplomb on tracks such as Overcome (Grey Version) and Get Better.

King Of The Willow Tree - Sofia Talvik

2010 is the year when Sofia Talvik celebrates 5 years as an artist. At least if you count fram when she released her first album, ‘Blue Moon’. Since then she’s had air play all over the world, played huge festivals like the Lollapalooza and and established her name amongst the most interesting new singer/songwriters.

With her new album ‘Florida’ we’ll get to see a new side of Sofia. Her delicate songs have gained more power and volume and she’s mixed her usual acoustic instrumentation with electric sounds and programmed beats.

Eyes Above The Water by Crazy Mary

Anyone who experienced New York’s gritty, exciting, and gloriously vibrant music scene in the 1970s, ’80s, or ’90s will tell you the same thing: Their city is gone. Wiped out by a Stalin-esque, Disney-driven coup and replaced with a staid world of theme restaurants and karaoke bars. It’s as if when the soul was sucked out of Manhattan by real estate developers the music went along with it. Or so it would seem, however, until you’ve heard the music of New York band Crazy Mary.
