Gedalya-Conspiracy Theories

It can be overwhelming to hear about things going on around that effect us and we have no control. When Corona began I felt this when I heard all the theories about how it might have started. One day I sat down and wrote a song about all these theories. It’s a serious topic but I tried to make it a bit humorous. I hope you enjoy it.

Dead Rock West - Used To Love You

Cindy Wasserman and Frank Lee Drennen came together as Dead Rock West over 10 years ago in Los Angeles, CA when they wanted to make music that captures the classic “California vibe”. By channelling the melodies and harmonies of The Beach Boys, the Byrds and Buffalo Springfield, Dead Rock West distilled the essences of this sound, their musical influences and their own unique sound to record and release their debut album, Honey and Salt (2007). The success of Honey and Salt lead to a series of live tour dates, studio and live collaborations, and 3 new LP releases throughout the 00’s and early 10’s.

Budget Cuts by Joe Ferris

Folk/Punk Protest song Budget Cuts by solo acoustic singer/song-writer Joe Ferris.

This is another preview of my E.P that I released this month. It’s available on my website, where you’ll also find links to videos and lots of lo-fi recordings.

The title says it all really - it’s a song about the state of the world economy and the injustice in real people having to suffer for the failures of the state, while the people with the power who create these situations get stupid bonuses and go on 4 holidays a year.

I Know by Good King Friday

What happens when classical musicians decide to make smart, beautiful pop music.  This one has a unbearably catchy chorus with a New Orleans Jazz arrangement.
