I subscribe to Hypebot, Digital Music News, and a few other industry aggregators and this location seems to be the first point where I can actually ask a question to like minded individuals.
I was recently contacted about joining an organization called Conquer Entertainment. After sitting through the presentations from two separate individuals, and watching everything I can find online, I need to ask the following questions.
1. Does anyone have any knowledge of this company?
2. Are they offering artists anything other than an e-commerce platform with access to a large parent company (Market America and Shop.com)?
3. If you have looked into them, does the financial aspect sound funny to you also?
I’m trying to wrap my head around why anyone would want to use this platform or service. I don’t mean to come off sounding unfairly negative or critical. I just cannot see how this helps artists as opposed to adding one more website to manage.
Please feel free to post comments and thoughts on this.

So am I to assume you really didn't want to know more about Conquer Entertainment and that you were just ranting?
