In the year which saw Rage Against the Machine become the UK’s first download-only number one, digital music has come of age and now has an increasing impact on sales and artist popularity. As well as fans increasingly buying music digitally, more and more music fans are choosing to listen to their favourite songs online and ad-funded free music service we7 is enjoying rapid growth.
