Valter is the first solo project of Paul Pitkin, former singer/songwriter of Seattle’s legendary band Anabret. Expanding on Anabret’s lush sound, Pitkin has embarked on a musical journey that has been a long time coming.

Though Anabret received good critical and commercial acclaim—even landing “The Coming Night” on Fox’s John Doe series, Pitkin decided to leave the band due to creative differences. Soon after the breakup, he started working on the first solo work of his career.

With a reworked sound and aggressively personal lyrics, Valter is ever evolving and never boring.
