August 30, 2009 ReverbNation Survey: Artists and Health Care
Its a hot topic for those of us who are citizens of the United States. Congress, the President, talk show hosts, movie stars, and even my very own barber have strong opinions about health care reform. So we at ReverbNation thought it the appropriate time to ask some of our Artists about their helth care situations and opinions. The following represents some of the data collected from a survey taken by a small, random sample of Artists who are US citizens (n=259).
There was tremendous interest in this topic from the Artists we surveyed. Many of them filled several paragraphs in the open ended response we allowed at the end (responses not reported here). As a result of those empassioned responses, it is likely that we will expand the scope of the survey in terms of questions asked, questions reported to the public, and number of Artists surveyed in the near future. Stay tuned. I will post the follow up here at MTT if/when it becomes available.

so, 70% of the respondents don't know what a "right" is?
ask yourself: if health care coverage is a "right", but no one wants to be a doctor, what happens?

I'm not taking any sort of position here, but it seems as if you are suggesting that countries with socialized medicine (Canada, and virtually all of western Europe, for example) are experiencing a doctor shortage or medical student shortage that is worse than what we see in parts of the United States - and that this is caused by the fact that medicine is socialized in those places. If that is what you are suggesting, could you please point to some evidence for the benefit of the readers?
Again, I am not a proponent of private or public, per se. But I AM a proponent of fact-backed claims. ;)

So many people are talking about so many things without even having any solid evidence. Just a bunch of smart people throwing out big words to confuse the fuck out of 90% of the rest of the world.
It has gotten to the point where they will just point out irrelevant information and literally just antagonize people to try to sway the change that will happen if it's brought about by Obama or not.
Don't get me wrong. I voted for Obama.
1. Because he talked more on a level I think most people can relate to than any other president I've ever "tried to" follow.
2. Because if he was just as corrupt as the rest of them, he was incredibly slick about it and I knew he would really destroy this place, but that might be just what America needed...
Either way, if he was a bad guy just like the other guy no doubt was, he was a cooler bad guy at least.

ALL of them. That's half the globe brother. We're the #1, land of the free country? Why are our free citizens charged more for so many things on top of this as well?
